TX4
TX4 is the nickname for Tylend Robertson, ’25. Tylend gave himself this nickname as he uses it as his music profile. This nickname started his freshman year.
“I like it for the most part,” Tylend said.
Big Drop
Big Drop is the nickname for Madden Irving, ’25. This nickname was given to Madden as he was voted as a captain of the football team. Big Drop stems from a nickname given to a famous YouTuber named Duke Dennis. Duke Dennis is widely regarded as the leader of the AMP group.
“I don’t have any feelings towards it since I know it’s not disrespectful. I don’t mind if people call me it,” Madden said.
Big Thunder
Big Thunder is the nickname for Hunter Evans, ’27. He was given the nickname based on another sophomore soccer player, Hunter Daly, whose nickname is Little Lightning. Hunter says that he has had this nickname since his freshman year.
“I like my nickname,” Hunter said.
Smurph
Smurph is the nickname for teacher, Mr. Murphy, ’85. Mr. Murphy was given the nickname from one of his high school teachers. His nickname was formed by combining his first and last names.
“I do not like my nickname because it has become synonymous with drug dealers (Breaking Bad),” Mr. Murphy said.
KDogg
KDogg is the nickname was Kaveon Mitchell, ’26. He received his nickname from his little league football coach for the North County Cowboys in 2016.
“I like my nickname so much; I have been thinking about changing my legal name to it,” Kaveon said.
