Welcome to Caruso’s Critiques! This is an album review series that delves into new and long-loved music alike. The basic structure of one of these articles goes like this: There will be an intro, two or three recently released album reviews, and one historical album review. By “historical album” I mean an album that has been out for any amount of time that is well-known or well-liked. For example, this issue of Caruso’s Critiques will feature Thriller by Michael Jackson as its historical album. That will come at the end after my new albums, which are Chromakopia by Tyler, The Creator and Eternal Atake 2 by Lil Uzi Vert.
As for the structure of my reviews, they will all follow roughly the same format: 1. Overview of the album and themes, 2. My standout tracks, 3. My stinker track, 4. Individual song ratings (out of 10) and one-word descriptions, 5. Conclusion. The conclusion will also include a total album rating out of 10. With that being said, let’s get into Chromakopia.
