These students that I picked have extensive knowledge in the world of golf. These students have described the Masters as one of their favorite times of the year.
Jack Franklin (’24) said, “Aw man nothing better than a lil Masters and a nice soda.”
I asked these few distinguished students who their picks are for winning the Masters this year.
Tatman Bahr (’25) said, “I got Jason Day that jawnt is hella cold.”
After I asked him why he chose Jason Day he replied, “I choose him because I think he is playing some really solid golf and has good confidence. I think he is on the revenge tour.”
Next I asked someone with extensive knowledge in the world of sports, Henry Houseworth (’25).
I asked Henry his picks for the 2024 Masters, and he said,“I got Scheffler. I think he has the best odds and is the current favorite and is quite established. If I were to bet I’d put all balance on him.”
For the very casual golf fan, here is what you need to know: Last year’s Masters champion was John Rahm. Currently in the World Golf Rankings Scottie Scheffler is first, second is Rory Mcilroy, and third is John Rahm.
